A Word of Healing

Is healing for us today... or was it only for people who lived in Bible Times?

The Bible says in Psalm 107:20 "He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions." Healing is very much for the Christian today as it was for those who lived in Bible times. Healing is received by faith in the person of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that healing is a benefit of the Kingdom of God:

Psalm 103:1-4 "Bless the Lord Oh my soul and all that is within me bless His holy name. Bless the Lord Oh my soul and forget not all His benefits:Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction..."

Receiving Your Healing

You can receive healing in your body and in your mind if you make a stand on the Word of God. Faith is based on the Word so find a scripture or two that promise you healing (such as Isaiah 53:4-5, and Psalm 103:3) and stand on those promises. The Bible promises that if you will believe with your whole heart the Lord Jesus and His Word, and 'speak' according to that Word of promise which He has given to you for your benefit, then you shall have it.

Here at Daystar Ministries it is our heart-felt desire to see you healed. So if you are in need of someone to stand firmly with you in faith believing for your miracle, remember that we are here for you. All you need to do is submit your prayer request. We believe God that whatsoever He has promised He is able to perform.

Isaiah 53:4-5

"Surely He [Jesus] hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed."

1 Peter 2:24

"Who His own self [Jesus] bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by Whose stripes you were healed."
