The Church on the Mount

Daystar Ministries is a full gospel Pentecostal Church located on 'The Mount' in Coulsdon. The word Day Star refers to Jesus who is the 'Light' that shines into the dark places of our lives giving us new hope and inner strength and bringing us to God's remarkable salvation as it is written:

"We have also a more sure word of prophecy, where unto you do well that you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns, and the Day Star arises in your hearts".

(2 Peter 1:19)

we would like to say that we are non denominational but that term will make no sense in our current world of church denominations.

Ministry Mission

To bring:

Salvation to the lost.
Repentance to the sinner.
Cleansing and holiness to the House of God that she may be without, spot, wrinkle, or blemish,

Mission Objectives

To preach the gospel to the poor.
To heal the broken hearted.
To preach deliverance to the captives.
To restore sight to the blind.
To set at liberty those who are oppressed.
To preach the acceptable time of the Lord's favour.

Ministry Assignment

The special assignment or purpose of this House was given to the Pastor by the Holy Spirit in April of 2010. The task is fully laid out in the entire chapter of Isaiah 62. The task is summarised in verse 1 as follows: "For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof goes forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burns." Isaiah 60 follows on from Isaiah 62 regarding the same matter; To raise up 'Zion' and to build up 'Jerusalem' for a place of refuge for God's people. Plainly said; it is to build the latter-day Goshen for the elect only, the end-time place of refuge to protect God's people against the coming extreme climate, weather, environmental and adverse living conditions, God's end-time indignation. And whilst taking refuge in these Arks shall the elect be lifted up.
